CTOnews.com, October 28, according to the official news of Macao University of Science and Technology, the "Aoke-1" satellite will be launched in the first half of 2023. It is the first and only scientific exploration satellite to use low-inclination orbit to monitor the geomagnetic field and space environment of the South Atlantic anomaly region (SAA) near the equator. It can provide high-precision data about the earth's magnetic field and space environment. Meaningful results are expected to be made in the intersecting fields of astronomy and earth sciences (deep ground, deep sea, deep space).

▲ Macao University of Science and Technology CTOnews.com learned that Macao's first science and technology test satellite, jointly developed by the government of the Macao Special Administrative region and the National Space Administration, is located in the State key Laboratory of Lunar and Planetary Science of Macao University of Science and Technology. The launch was originally planned for 2021, but was postponed until the second half of 2022. Today's news has been postponed to the first half of 2023.

The satellite is composed of An and B stars: star An is equipped with advanced high-precision vector magnetometer, high-stability optical platform, high-precision scalar magnetometer, and satellite B is equipped with solar X-ray detector, energy electron spectrometer and so on.
