Total sales of CDPR games exceed 85 million: Cyberpunk 2077 plays an important role.
CTOnews.com, October 29 (Xinhua)-- more than 85 million games developed by CD Projekt have been sold so far, making the Polish game developer a force to be ignored.
Cyber punk 2077 has contributed to CD Projekt RED, which has sold 20 million copies so far, as many as the previous two wizard games. The studio has now confirmed that the combined sales of all four games have reached 85 million, which puts it ahead of the 84 million units of the Monster Hunter series (the latest recorded figures).
"We have launched four profound and unforgettable games that continue to attract more and more gamers," CD Projekt President Adam Kicinski said at a recent strategy conference. "We are proud to announce that Cyberpunk 2077 has sold more than 2000 copies. So far, the total sales of our four flagship games have exceeded 8500 million."
The sales volume of each game is as follows:
Wizards 3-45 million
"Cyber punk 2077"-20 million
Wizards 1 and 2-20 million
CTOnews.com has learned that CD Projekt is planning to launch a number of new games, including a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, codenamed Orion, which is expected to offer online multiplayer features, as well as a remake of the original Wizards game with Unreal engine 5, as well as a new Wizards trilogy in the works.
