Nvidia confirms that the latest driver for version 526.47 will cause call of Duty 19 to crash.

CTOnews.com learned that the problem was first discovered by Beenox, the chief studio of the PC version of Modern Warfare 2, who tweeted: "We have noticed that the latest NVIDIA driver 526.47 will cause some stability problems in the game call of Duty 19: modern Warfare 2. Currently, we recommend that players stay on the 516.59 or 522.25 driver."

Nvidia later confirmed that the problem existed, and a company representative said: "Yes, a bug has been submitted for this game and we are doing a hot fix, which is why our latest Game Ready driver has not been promoted and recommended for this work as soon as possible."

Ironically, some players posted on the forum to solve the crash problem and they specifically updated to the latest N-card driver, but this led to more problems.

Nvidia did not specify when the hot fix will be completed, and players are not advised to upgrade for the time being.
