BYD Guiyang Fudi power harness project has been officially put into production, and the first batch of products have been put off the line.

CTOnews.com October 30 news, BYD Guiyang Fudi Power High Voltage Electrical Plant produced the first batch of wire harness products officially off the line on October 28.

CTOnews.com learned that Fudi Power Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of BYD, established in 2019, has 14 bases in the country, with motor, electric control, power supply, engine, high-voltage connection and other core technologies, can provide the whole system of automotive power platform products and parts products supporting processing services.

The Guiyang BYD power harness project, which has a total investment of 400 million yuan and a workshop of more than 50,000 square meters, has built a total of 32 wire harness production lines. It is reported that after reaching production, the project will achieve an annual output value of 1.5 billion yuan and provide about 3000 jobs.

Data show that in September 2022, BYD sold 201259 new energy vehicles; from January to September 2022, it sold 1180054 new energy vehicles, an increase of 249.56 percent over the same period last year.
