Gigabyte Z790 motherboard realizes air-cooled XMP DDR5-8333
CTOnews.com October 31 news, gigabyte today announced that the Z790 AORUS TACHYON motherboard successfully achieved the performance of memory air-cooled XMP DDR5-8333, but also passed the DDR5-9300 air-cooled overclocking verification.
Officials say gigabyte's exclusive High Bandwidth function allows players to further increase the overall bandwidth without changing the memory frequency when using XMP memory to provide better memory efficiency. With the help of these unique technologies, the Z790 AORUS XTREME and Z790 AORUS MASTER can successfully complete the performance test of the memory at the speed of XMP DDR5-8000. The Z790 AORUS TACHYON is assisted by a special overclocking kit to improve the performance, not only to increase the memory XMP speed to DDR5-8333, but also to achieve the air-cooled overclocking DDR5-9300.
CTOnews.com learned that memory with Hynix A-die chips is already on the market and can meet the DDR5-7200 specification, and the DDR5-7800 model will be launched later.
