Beijing, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) two more top executives have left Twitter, which has lost most of its sales and marketing leadership just days after it was acquired by billionaire Elon Musk. At present, Musk is rapidly streamlining the ranks of Twitter executives, hoping to reshape the company to fit his vision.

Leslie Berland, the chief marketing officer who joined Twitter in 2011, left on Tuesday, according to people familiar with the matter. Last week, when Musk's $44 billion deal for Twitter was finalised, Mr. Boland was the executive who showed him around the Twitter office for the first time.

▲ Twitter Chief Marketing Officer Bolan left at the same time as Jean-Philippe Mach (Jean-Philippe Maheu), vice president of global customer solutions, left Twitter. Mach was seen escorted out of the company's office, according to people familiar with the matter. It is not clear whether he resigned voluntarily or was part of Mr Musk's broader layoffs. Mr Bolan and Mr Mach have not responded to requests for comment.

Separately, Sarah Personette, Twitter's chief customer officer, said she resigned on Friday and that her access to Twitter had been officially cut off on Monday night. Twitter employees are preparing for larger layoffs as early as this week, after some executives used the weekend to draw up a list of employees to be laid off.
