According to CTOnews.com news on November 2, Honeycomb Energy officially learned that on October 31, Honeycomb Energy held the commissioning ceremony of the Honeycomb Energy Suining power lithium-ion battery project in Suining, Sichuan Province, marking the first production base of Honeycomb Energy in the southwest region to enter the stage of production.

According to the person in charge of Honeycomb Energy Suining Base, the construction of Suining Base adopts the mode of step-by-step construction and step-by-step production. The first phase of Suining base project will be put into production this time, and the production capacity will reach 20GWh after full production in the future.

According to reports, Honeycomb Energy Suining Phase I factory has introduced a new generation of high-speed lamination technology, high-speed laser die-cutting technology, fully enclosed ring laser welding technology and high-efficiency energy storage battery testing and other processes and technologies to provide customers with battery products.

CTOnews.com learned that Honeycomb Energy said that when the first phase of the Suining project was put into production, the second phase of the project was also under construction and was expected to be completed by mid-2023. At that time, the planned production capacity of Suining base can reach 29GWh.
