CTOnews.com, Nov. 3-Musk plans to cut about 3700 jobs at Twitter, accounting for half of the social media company's workforce, according to sources quoted by Bloomberg on Nov. 3. The source said that Musk's move is to reduce the cost of acquisition, after he completed the acquisition of Twitter for $44 billion.

CTOnews.com learned that Musk also plans to abolish the company's current telecommuting policy and require the remaining employees to work at the company, but there may be some exceptions.

According to reports, Musk and a team of advisers are weighing a series of layoffs and other policy changes on Twitter, and these layoffs are still likely to change. Two of the people said that in one option under consideration, laid-off employees would receive 60 days of severance pay.
