Wechat Windows PC release 3.8.0: support for extraction and translation of text in pictures
According to CTOnews.com news on November 3, Wechat has now released an update to the 3.8.0 official version for Windows PC users, with a number of new features to support the extraction and translation of text content in pictures.
In the 3.8.0 official version, Wechat also ushered in an update on the group function. When people are invited to join the group, they can share the chat records in the group, and the group manager can also put the messages in the group at the top. As usual, the official version of Wechat 3.8.0 also fixed some known problems.
Previously, Wechat supported the migration of chat records between computers and mobile phones in version 3.7.6, after which the merged chat records could be viewed on mobile phones or computers.
CTOnews.com learned that as a national social app, Wechat and WeChat had 1.299 billion monthly active users as of June 30, 2022, up 3.8 per cent from a year earlier.
