According to CTOnews.com on November 3, the number of paid subscribers on Apple's Apple platform now exceeds 900 million, up from 816 million in the previous quarter. Apple's total subscribers continue to rise rapidly. In July, the figure was 816 million, and it has increased by nearly 90 million since then.

The epidemic has provided a boost to the number of subscribers over the past few years, and analysts had expected this growth to slow as people returned to normal work. However, compared with other services such as Hulu and App subscriptions, services such as Apple's Apple Music and Apple TV + seem to continue to grow.

The total number of users is calculated by calculating any subscriptions made on the Apple platform. CTOnews.com learned that this includes Apple services, entertainment apps, and app subscriptions from App Store.

Because Apple takes a commission on every purchase or subscription on its platform, with a few exceptions, it can count each subscription as a factor to increase its profitability.

Luca Maestri, Apple's chief financial officer, said Apple's services continued to grow, setting a record revenue for the September quarter, up 5%. This is due to strong customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Apple's fiscal fourth quarter and full-year results in 2022 showed total net revenue of $90.146 billion, up 8% from $83.36 billion a year earlier, and net profit of $20.721 billion, up 1% from $20.551 billion a year earlier. Diluted earnings per share were $1.29, up 4 per cent from $1.24 a year earlier. Apple's revenue in Greater China in the fourth quarter was $15.47 billion, up 6 per cent from $14.563 billion a year earlier.
