The first time sensitive Network (TSN) standard in China has been officially released.
CTOnews.com November 4, according to the Industrial Internet Industry Alliance, recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued notice No. 23 of 2022, approving the release of the industry standard YD / T 4134-2022 "Industrial Internet time-sensitive Network requirements and scenarios". This standard is the first time sensitive network (TSN) technical standard in China, which marks a solid step in the construction of TSN technical standard system in China, and is of great significance to the construction of industrial Internet network standard system.
The standard "Industrial Internet time-sensitive Network requirements and scenarios" describes the overall characteristics and requirements of TSN and the industrial Internet application scenarios suitable for TSN, and refines the key technical requirements according to the application scenarios, which can be applied to the planning, design and optimization of TSN networks. The standard can provide guidance for the overall network planning of industrial enterprises, and has guiding significance for the in-depth development of TSN technology landing and serving the digital transformation and upgrading of enterprises.
The standard is jointly formulated by China Academy of Information and Communications, University of Science and Technology of China, Huawei Technology Co., Ltd., Industrial Internet Innovation Center (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Gale Co., Ltd., Xinte Energy Co., Ltd., Beijing Dongtu Science and Technology Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Faste Gear Co., Ltd., Beijing Jiaotong University, Benxi Iron and Steel (Group) Information Automation Co., Ltd.
In the next step, the Chinese Academy of Information and Communications will jointly promote the development of a series of standards for TSN equipment, interworking, and management, so as to provide strong support for the development of TSN equipment, the landing of programs, and the integration and application of new technologies, and promote the innovation and development of industrial Internet network technology.

Time-sensitive networks allow periodic and aperiodic data to be transmitted in the same network, which makes standard Ethernet have the advantage of deterministic transmission, and has become a widely focused key technology through the vendor-independent standardization process. At present, IEEE, IEC and other organizations are working on the underlying interoperability standards and specifications of industrial application networks based on TSN.
