Thank you CTOnews.com netizen Mr. Aviation for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com November 7 news, according to Beijing Daily reported,"World Energy Blue Book: World Energy Development Report (2022)" was released on November 6. According to the Blue Book data, China's renewable energy installed capacity has exceeded 1 billion kilowatts, and offshore wind power installed capacity ranks first in the world.

It is estimated that by 2025, the electricity consumption of emerging industries in China will account for about 20% of the electricity consumption of the whole society. By 2030, China's installed capacity of coal power will reach a peak of 1.26 billion kilowatts. The Blue Book predicts that global electricity demand growth will slow from 2023 to 2024, and renewable energy power supply will account for more than 32% of the total global electricity supply by 2024. Most of the growth in electricity supply from 2021 to 2024 will be in China, accounting for about half of the total net growth.

CTOnews.com understands that, according to the National Bureau of Statistics, the installed capacity of power generation nationwide was about 2.47 billion kilowatts by the end of August, up 8.0 percent year-on-year. Among them, the installed capacity of wind power is about 340 million kilowatts, up 16.6% year-on-year. In September 2022, China's wind power growth rate was 25.8%, slowing down by 2.4% compared with the previous month.

According to CCTV reports, in recent years, China's wind power equipment exports have grown rapidly. At present, 60% of wind power equipment in the global market comes from China. According to reports, in the first quarter of this year, China exported 9499 wind turbines, and the length of a blade alone was nearly 80 meters.
