Chinese Geely cars begin to enter the European market: geometric C electric cars will go on sale in some areas next year.

CTOnews.com, November 7 (Xinhua) recently, China Geely Automobile Group and Hungary's Grand Automobile Central Europe held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Budapest, marking Geely's first entry into the EU market, Xinhua reported. Under the agreement, Grande will sell Geely's Geometry C electric cars in Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, with the first cars expected to go on sale in the first half of 2023.

CTOnews.com learned that the "Geometry C" model was launched in May 2020, using Geely's independently developed battery intelligent temperature control system, heat pump air conditioning system, body lightweight technology, with a range of more than 500km, equipped with automatic parking system and 5G's latest intelligent network technology, and so on.

Geely announced today that it sold a total of 152263 vehicles in October, up 36 per cent from a year earlier. Geely (including Geometry) sold 119874 cars in October, up 34 per cent from a year earlier, while polar krypton sold 10119 vehicles in October, up about 4985 per cent from a year earlier.

The export of new energy vehicles has surged, driving the growth of China's automobile exports. According to the General Administration of Customs, in the first eight months of this year, China exported 1.91 million cars, an increase of 47.5 percent over the same period last year, surpassing Germany and becoming the world's second largest car exporter after Japan.
