After several delays, Ubisoft confirmed that Prince of Persia: sand remaking is still under development.
CTOnews.com, Nov. 8 (Xinhua)-- Ubisoft posted an article on its official website answering questions about the multi-ticket-jumping "Prince of Persia: sand of time remaking" and its development. The French publisher confirmed that the game was "not cancelled" and is currently under development by Ubisoft in Montreal.
As to why the pre-order order for "Prince of Persia: sand of time remaking" was cancelled in June, Ubisoft explained that this is because the game no longer has a confirmed release date, so the existing pre-order order has been cancelled and pre-order players can choose a refund.
Ubisoft said more details would be provided in the future, but the company did not provide a time frame for when to share the news. It is worth mentioning that Ubisoft said in a blog post: "apart from the Prince of Persia: the Sands of time, there are no plans to remake any other Persian prince games."
CTOnews.com has learned that "Prince of Persia: the Sand of time remake" has been delayed several times since it was first announced and has failed to meet fan standards, and officials have previously confirmed that the game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
