Vicino HLEMS high-performance optical extraction technology is about to be mass produced, and the power consumption of mobile phone screen is reduced by 12%.
CTOnews.com November 9 news, Vicino Visionox announced today that only six months later, Vicino has further improved its performance following the release of HLEMS technology at the 2022 new technology launch conference, which is now in mass production.
According to reports, using the microstructure design and the optimization of refractive index between films, HLEMS high-performance optical extraction technology changes the path of partial optical extraction, thus improving the optical extraction efficiency and achieving an average power consumption reduction of 12%.
In addition, because HLEMS technology changes the light extraction path, the screen body equipped with this technology may produce brightness attenuation at a smaller viewing angle than the conventional screen body, but Vicino innovatively optimizes the microstructure to reduce the difference to only about 5 per cent.
CTOnews.com learned that Vicino said that HLEMS technology has now entered the stage of mass production and is expected to take the lead in applying this advanced low-power technology to domestic head brand models.
