Wechat denies support for withdrawing the message within 5 minutes: rumor, or 2 minutes

CTOnews.com November 11 news, yesterday's Android Wechat App ushered in the 8.0.30 official version update, bringing a lot of new features, and then a user posted a picture on the Internet, showing Wechat text messages can be withdrawn within five minutes, so everyone thinks that Wechat will extend the original withdrawal time limit of 2 minutes to 5 minutes.

In response, Wechat responded to Sina Technology by calling it a rumor. Wechat said that at present, after users send a message, the time limit for withdrawal is still 2 minutes. The new version of Wechat can be edited within 5 minutes after the message is withdrawn using the "re-Edit" function, rather than within 5 minutes.

In the latest 8.0.30 version, Wechat also added new features such as "online consultation" portal, Wechat keyboard plug-in, support for expanding the capacity of comments on moments, Wechat status support for custom filling, and video number live streaming support for dress rehearsals.
