CTOnews.com November 11 news, learned from BYD that BYD Automotive Industry Co., Ltd. recently announced a partnership with Mauritius car dealer group LEAL Group to jointly provide new energy passenger car products for the Mauritian market.

Data show that BYD New Energy vehicles currently have a footprint in more than 70 countries and regions and more than 400 cities around the world. In the first half of 2022, BYD New Energy vehicle sales exceeded 640000 units, an increase of more than 300% over the same period last year.

CTOnews.com learned that BYD said it has served more than 2.9 million car owners so far and has been the top seller of new energy passenger cars in China for nine consecutive years.

It is reported that BYD new energy buses and vans have landed in the Mauritius market. In the future, BYD will launch a number of new energy passenger cars in Mauritius in cooperation with LEAL Group.

As one of the largest manufacturers of new energy vehicles in China, data show that BYD sold 217816 vehicles in October, up 142.2 percent from the same period last year; 217518 passenger cars, up 144.7 percent from the same period last year; and 9529 new energy passenger vehicles sold overseas.
