According to the official knowledge of Aerospace Dongfanghong Satellite Co., Ltd., the Macao student popular science satellite No. 1, developed by Aerospace Science and Technology Group No. 5 Aerospace Dongfanghong Satellite Co., Ltd., was successfully launched from the Tianzhou V cargo spacecraft at the Wenchang launch site in Hainan. The satellite was subsequently separated and released by the Tianzhou V cargo spacecraft in orbit, entered the predetermined orbit and carried out space science popularization missions.

The satellite is equipped with a miniature optical camera, equipped with intelligent processing, UV radio communications and other payloads, which can provide ground imaging, wireless communication experience and other services. According to reports, the main task of Macao Student Science Popularization Satellite 1 is to provide a satellite science popularization practice platform for Macao young students.
