Thank CTOnews.com netizens for the delivery of vegetable clues! CTOnews.com, November 13, Qualcomm Technologies announced on Thursday that it has achieved robust millimeter wave performance in a number of technology verification, achieving a breakthrough in 5G millimeter wave independent networking (SA) performance, which can meet the future needs of millimeter wave commercial deployment in China, laying a foundation for further promoting millimeter wave commercial deployment.

According to reports, Qualcomm, ZTE, Shanghai Nokia Bell, CITIC Mobile and other major system network manufacturers have conducted tests based on Snapdragon X655G modems and RF systems under the IMT-2020 (5G) standard. CTOnews.com learned that Qualcomm also validated core performance indicators such as single user throughput, user plane and control plane delay, beam handoff and cell handoff.

The test results show that without using LTE or Sub-6GHz spectrum anchor, 5G millimeter wave independent networking mode finally achieves 5G downlink peak rate exceeding 7.1Gbps, 5G uplink peak rate exceeding 2.1Gbps and 3.6ms delay, which can meet the demand for larger network capacity.
