The source said that Musk had asked the former head of Tesla's automobile department to give up some of his stock compensation.
CTOnews.com, Nov. 13, according to the Wall Street Journal, Tesla CEO Elon Musk (Elon Musk) parted ways with one of the company's executives, Jerome Guillen, last year.
After working at Tesla for about 10 years, Guillen was promoted to head of Tesla's automobile department, and his stock awards rose with Tesla's valuation. CTOnews.com learned that by the end of 2020, Guillen's outstanding stake in Tesla was worth about $600m, according to analysis by Equilar.
Us media pointed out that people familiar with the matter revealed that as their long-term relationship broke down, Musk made a strange request that he want Guillen to give up part of its unfulfilled stake in Tesla. Soon after, Guillen left Tesla.
A broader concern for Mr Musk, according to some people familiar with the matter, is that some employees are paid more from Tesla than he thinks they deserve for their contributions.
