The present disclosure relates to a display control method, device and storage medium. The display control method is applied to a terminal, wherein a display screen of the terminal comprises an under-screen optical fingerprint identification area, and the display control method comprises the following steps of: responding to that an optical fingerprint identification function of the terminal is turned on, gradually adjusting display brightness of the under-screen optical fingerprint identification area according to a brightness sequence from low to high within a preset brightness adjustment range, and synchronously collecting fingerprint identification images; in response to that fingerprint recognition image bee successfully collected, record the display brightness of the under-screen optical fingerprint recognition area and the illumination intensity of ambient light when the fingerprint recognition image is successfully collected; and creating a corresponding relationship between the illumination intensity and the display brightness.
