Nvidia confirms that there are two manufacturers of the RTX 4090 graphics card power cord, one of which will burn out

According to the latest report from Igor'sLAB, Nvidia's official investigation confirmed that there were two 12VHPWR power cord suppliers in RTX 4090, and the problems focused on the products of one of the suppliers.
Gabriele Gorla, engineering director of Nvidia, revealed that the official 600W power cord bundled with all GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards was made by two Taiwanese companies, Astron Kensang Technologies and NTK.
CTOnews.com learned and reported that NTK's power cord has a better locking system, using one spring contact design rather than Astron's two spring contact design. It is said that Astron power cord has lower durability and higher resistance than NTK cable. Nvidia is testing to measure how the connection cycle affects the resistance, which should normally be no more than 2 milliohms.
