Buffett built Cangtai SMC with 4 billion US dollars in the third quarter.
CTOnews.com, November 15, according to 13F documents disclosed by Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway, the company built a total of 60.06 million shares of TSMC in the third quarter, with a market value of $4.1 billion. Q3 did not increase or reduce Apple's holdings, and Apple's position rose to 41.7%, with a total market capitalization of $123.6 billion.
In addition, Buffett also built positions in building materials manufacturers Louisiana-Pacific (referred to as LP), and JEF; liquidated Store Capital; to increase its holdings in Western Oil, Chevron, RH, Paramount Global, and Celaness; to reduce its holdings in Activision Blizzard, Nippon Mellon, Kroger, General Motors, etc.; heavy positions include Apple, Bank of America, Chevron, Coca-Cola, and American Express.
Buffett reduced his stake in Activision Blizzard 8.26 million shares, reducing the market value of his position to $4.47 billion. Berkshire Hathaway's total position fell slightly to $296 billion at the end of the third quarter.
