On November 15, according to foreign media reports, Infineon, a semiconductor solution provider, released its results for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2022 on Monday local time, with a sharp increase in revenue and higher profits than in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

Infineon reported revenue of 4.143 billion euros in the fiscal fourth quarter ended September 30, up 1.136 billion euros from 3.007 billion euros in the same period of the previous fiscal year, an increase of 38% year-on-year, and 525 million euros from 3.618 billion euros in the previous fiscal quarter.

In terms of profits, the financial report showed 735 million euros, compared with 464 million euros in the same period of the previous fiscal year, an increase of 58% over the same period last year, and 517 million euros in the previous quarter, an increase of 42% from the previous quarter.

For the next quarter, Infineon is expected to have revenue of about 4 billion euros in its financial report. According to this expectation, Infineon's revenue will continue to grow year-on-year in the next quarter, with revenue of 3.159 billion euros in the first quarter of fiscal 2022.

Infineon's fiscal year 2022 results were also announced following the release of fourth-quarter results, with revenue of 14.218 billion euros in the fiscal year, up 29% from a year earlier. For fiscal year 2023, they expect revenue of 15.5 billion euros, fluctuating up and down 500 million euros, and is expected to maintain growth.
