According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in October, industrial raw coal, crude oil, natural gas and electricity production above designated size maintained year-on-year growth. Compared with September, the growth rate of raw coal dropped, the growth rate of crude oil and natural gas accelerated, and the growth rate of electric power turned from negative to positive.

In October, power generation was 661 billion kWh, up 1.3% year-on-year, down 0.4% last month, with an average daily power generation of 21.32 billion kWh. 1-10 In January, power generation was 7.0 trillion kWh, up 2.2% year-on-year.

In October, the growth rate of thermal power slowed down, the decline of hydropower narrowed, nuclear power increased from decline to rise, and wind power and solar power generation maintained rapid growth. Of which:

Thermal power increased by 3.2% year-on-year, and the growth rate dropped by 2.9 percentage points from the previous month.

Hydropower decreased by 17.7%, a decrease of 12.3 percentage points narrower than that of the previous month.

Nuclear power increased by 7.4%, down 2.7% last month.

Wind power increased by 19.2%;

Solar power generation increased by 24.7%.
