Motorola Moto Watch 70 exposure: square dial design, priced at C $99
CTOnews.com, Nov. 15, Motorola's performance in smartwatches is not very good, with only two Moto 360s and Moto Watch 100s launched so far. However, Best Buy Canada released the Moto Watch 70 product page ahead of time, citing 9to5Google.
To the disappointment of Moto users, the Moto Watch 70 uses a square dial design similar to Apple Watch, with fitness tracking and a general smartwatch operating system.
CTOnews.com learned that the Moto Watch 70 has 23 motion modes, is compatible with Android and iOS systems, has a battery life of up to 14 hours, a full charging time of 60 minutes, and supports a GPS,1.69 inch LCD color screen with a resolution of 240x280.
The smartwatch has a zinc alloy case and a silicone strap that meets the IP67 standard for water and dust protection. The Moto Watch 70 has a heart rate sensor, but no ECG or ECG recording function. However, in addition to sleep tracking and other basic health tracking capabilities, body temperature measurement is a welcome supplement.
According to Best Buy's list, the watch does not have cellular connectivity, NFC compatibility or voice assistant support. Basically, this is an entry-level smartwatch with very limited functions. The listing price of Moto Watch 70 is 99 Canadian dollars (about 527 yuan).
