Adobe plans to extend Aero applications to smartphones using Snapdragon's flagship platform around the world

CTOnews.com, Nov. 16, Qualcomm Technologies and Adobe announced at the Snapdragon Summit today that they will expand their cooperation to improve the experience on terminals equipped with Snapdragon Mobile, Computing and XR platforms. Among them, Windows PC with Snapdragon computing platform will natively support Adobe Fresco and Adobe Acrobat.

Specifically, based on the existing Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom experiences optimized for Snapdragon, Adobe will continue to bring the Creative Cloud native experience to Snapdragon platforms, including Adobe Fresco and Adobe Acrobat.

Adobe AI technology supports Adobe Sensei, combined with the dedicated terminal-side Qualcomm AI engine on Snapdragon computing platform, users will experience enhanced terminal performance in creative workflows and tasks, including super resolution, background removal, color enhancement, anytime, anywhere content editing, etc.

CTOnews.com learned that the two companies are collaborating on the workflow that XR creates and uses. The workflow is supported by the Snapdragon Spaces XR developer platform specially built for VR / MR head display and AR glasses.

According to reports, extending Adobe 3D and immersive media creation tools from smartphones and PC to XR products through Snapdragon Spaces will help creators create a space-aware immersive narrative experience in headwear glasses and devices. This work includes supporting high-performance 3D workflows in USD format on many Android terminals to achieve the XR experience supported by Snapdragon Spaces.

In addition, Adobe now plans to expand Aero applications worldwide to smartphones that use Snapdragon's flagship platform.
