CTOnews.com, November 17 (Xinhua)-- Apple today released an update to the official version of tvOS 16.1.1 for the third-generation Apple TV 4K. Apple said the update addresses a problem that could prevent Apple TV from installing apps.

CTOnews.com learned that the third-generation Apple TV 4K was released earlier this month and that the tvOS 16.1.1 update applies only to new models. This bug fix may have resolved the problem that caused 128GB Apple TV 4K users to recognize only 64GB space.

Previously, when some 128GB Apple TV uses storage space super-64GB, users will appear the following message when they try to download a new application: "the application cannot be installed because there is not enough space. Delete one or more applications or manage your storage space in the settings."

The tvOS 16.1.1 update can be downloaded from Apple TV Settings-system-Software updates. Apple TV users who have turned on automatic software updates will automatically upgrade to tvOS 16.1.1.
