Samsung Galaxy A52 pushes Android 13 / One UI 5.0 official version overseas

CTOnews.com November 17 news, Samsung released a stable version of Android 13 (One UI 5.0) update to the mid-range smartphone Galaxy A52 after launching the official version of Android 13 update to Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy A73 5G, Galaxy M32 5G and Galaxy M52 5G.

The stable Android 13 update has been pushed to Russian Galaxy A52 users with firmware version A525FXXU4CVJB. The update brings One UI 5.0 and a November 2022 security patch to the smartphone. Other countries may get this update in the coming weeks.

Galaxy A52 users in Russia can download Android 13 updates on their phones by going to Settings-Software Updates and clicking "Download and Install."

CTOnews.com has learned that Samsung's Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update brings a revolutionary UI design with expanded palette features, slightly larger icons in the notification area, and stacked widgets. The update also brings OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to camera, photo album and keyboard apps. Samsung has also revamped all of its built-in apps to add more features.

In early 2021, Samsung launched the Galaxy A52 phone with Android 11. The phone received an update for Android 12 late last year, and now it's getting an update for Android 13. It will get another major major version of the system update (Android 14) sometime late next year.
