Apple Watch Amazon audiobook application Audible update: can no longer rely on Apple iPhone
CTOnews.com, November 18, Audible, Amazon audiobook app for Apple Watch, got a major update today: it can no longer rely on iPhone connections to run independently on Apple Watch, not only to play audio media resources, but also to download content.
Audible wrote in today's blog:
It will be easier to use Audible on Apple Watch. Listeners can now access bookshelves, streaming and downloaded content without relying on iPhone.
Whether it's jogging in the morning or walking the dog in the park, users can start listening to these media resources with a tap on their wrist.
Seamless synchronization across devices means that when they get home, they can switch to an Alexa device or mobile phone to listen, without having to start all over again. Moreover, the narrative speed can be quickly adjusted when used outdoors.

CTOnews.com has learned that the new Audible features for Apple Watch are as follows
Streaming media is no longer dependent on iPhone
After the user plays, the content is downloaded in the background at the same time so that it can be listened offline. There is also an option to use only streaming media in the settings, as well as explanation speed control.
Seamless synchronization means that users can continue to listen to the rest of the content no matter what kind of device they are using.
