Gearbox said: "after years of enthusiastic responsibility for the release of Adventure in the Rain 2, we have developed a deep love and respect for this IP. We are eager to prove ourselves as qualified IP holders by continuing to bring you world-class content and ensuring a bright future that leads the game series."

Officials also say they are working to bring the void Survivor DLC of Adventure in the Rain 2 to the mainframe and are working with Hopoo partners to develop more information about a new project. Officials have not made it clear what the new project is.
