CTOnews.com November 20 news, relative to IEEE International Symposium, there are three major events in the field of semiconductors and integrated circuits, they are:

ISSCC (International Solid-State Circuits Conference),

IEDM (International Electron Devices Meeting),

VLSI (Symposium on VLSI Technology and Circuits).

These three conferences are called "Olympics" in the field of integrated circuits and semiconductors.

On Wednesday, the organizing committee of the International Solid State Circuit Conference (ISSCC) held a press conference to introduce ISSCC 2023 and the latest research trends.

ISSCC was first held in 1954, and the 70th Congress will be held in San Francisco on February 19.(ISSCC paper deadline in early September, will be held on February 19 next year), more than 3000 researchers from more than 30 countries and regions will participate, sharing the latest technological progress in this field, such as TSMC, MediaTek, Sony, Samsung, Intel and other units, universities and research institutions.

According to the organizing committee, 629 research papers were submitted to ISSCC this year, of which 198 passed the screening. CTOnews.com learned that 59 of the 198 articles (including Hong Kong and Macau) included Chinese people, accounting for 29.8%, a significant increase from 14.5%(29 people) in February 2010, of which 15 were from Macau University, 13 from Tsinghua University and 6 from Peking University. As a result, China overtook the United States (42) and South Korea (32) to rank first in the world for the first time.
