CTOnews.com, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) BYD recently signed an order for 64 buses with Nobina, the largest bus operator in northern Europe, which is scheduled to be delivered in the second quarter of 2023 and put into operation in the Nedre Glomma region of Norway, according to BYD's official account.

The new order includes 40 12-meter buses and 24 15-meter pure electric buses. Both cars are equipped with an electrothermal management system independently developed by BYD to fully adapt to the extreme weather in Norway. At the same time, thanks to a new generation of lithium iron phosphate battery and six-in-one integrated controller assembly system, the safety and battery life of the bus are guaranteed. In addition, the bus uses new and upgraded interior and exterior decoration materials to provide passengers with a comfortable and environmentally friendly travel experience.

Since establishing a partnership with BYD in 2015, Nobina has operated more than 300 BYD electric buses in Sweden, Norway and Finland. In 2021, BYD built the largest fleet of electric buses in Finnish history for Nobina. At the beginning of 2022, BYD signed another 30 Taiwan bus order with Nobina, and the vehicle will be operational in Helsinki by the end of the year.
