The first university in the country, the intelligent network connection bus test of Tianjin University
CTOnews.com, November 21 (Xinhua) three intelligent buses, "Jin D2081 Test", "Jin D2082 Test" and "Jin D2083 Test", developed by the team of self-driving Cross Research Center of Tianjin University, have official "ID cards" and began to conduct open running tests on the intelligent network connected car road in Haihe Education Park in November. It is reported that Tianjin University is the first university in the country to carry out research in the field of Intelligent Network Automotive among the universities that have obtained both open test road license and open test vehicle license.
The team of the self-driving Cross Research Center of Tianjin University has cooperated with the Haijiao Park Management Committee to carry out the research and development of intelligent network-connected public transport since 2019, and passed the whole process of law testing and expert review related to obtaining the open operation test license in October this year. CTOnews.com learned that Tianjin University Intelligent Network bus carries ten core technologies developed independently, such as intelligent perception, intelligent decision-making, efficient traffic, human-computer interaction, vehicle-road coordination, and so on.
It is reported that the test road is about 27 kilometers, with 10 stations and 20 intersections, and it takes about 40 minutes to walk the whole journey. The test intelligent bus will depart from the East Gate Station of Beiyangyuan Campus of Tianjin University at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 14:00, 15:00 and 16:00 every day, passing through Yaguan Road, Yashen Road, Tongyan Road, Tongde Road, Ninghui Road, and Huibei Road, Sports Ring Road, Wenhui South Road, Xinhui Road, Nanhui Road, Yazhi West Road, Yazhi East Road, Tongxin Road, Wenhui North Road and other roads in the park. The first stage of intelligent public transport open test includes Tianjin University East Gate, Tianjin University South Gate, Nankai University West Gate, Haijiao Park Management Committee, Wenhui South Road, Management Center, training Center, Mechanical and Electrical Vocational College, Business Vocational College and other stations. At the station along the way, citizens can experience it by car.
