CTOnews.com August 12 news, today, Ningde era held the ninth meeting of the third board of directors, deliberated and approved the "proposal on investment in the construction of Hungary era new energy battery industry base project," which means Ningde era plans to build battery industry base in Hungary.

Ningde Times said that with the rapid development of new energy industry abroad, especially in Europe, the power battery market is continuing to grow. In order to further deepen the company's global strategic layout, promote overseas business development and meet overseas market demand, Ningde Times plans to invest in the construction of Hungary Times New Energy Battery Industry Base Project in Debrecen City, Hungary, with a total investment of no more than 7.34 billion euros (about 51.086 billion yuan).

According to the announcement issued by Ningde Times, the project is located in the southern economic development zone of Debrecen City, Hungary, and it is planned to build a 100GWh power battery system production line. The planned land area of the project is about 2.21 million square meters, and the total construction period is expected to not exceed 64 months, among which the construction of the first plant will commence in 2022 after obtaining relevant approval.

CTOnews.com learned that the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance yesterday released monthly data on power batteries for July 2022. The data shows that Ningde era ranked first in the number of power battery loading with 47.19% of the total.
