According to Mehmet Mus, Turkey's exports grew at a gratifying pace in the first seven months of this year, setting another record. In addition to primary products such as agricultural products, as a manufacturing power in the Middle East and West Asia, Turkey's industrial exports are also growing rapidly, and foreign investment applications for export-oriented manufacturing have doubled compared with last year.

Minister Mus also said in particular that digitization is the general trend of economic development in the future, and the demand for chips will be higher and higher. Although it is not possible to fully grasp all aspects of the industry, Turkey will also try to cut in some areas. He also cited the country's proverb "the mill only carries water" to emphasize the need for the semiconductor industry to be self-reliant.

Mus also revealed that Turkey is actively preparing conditions for the development of the local semiconductor industry. He pointed out that semiconductor manufacturing is very dependent on water resources, and Turkey needs to be prepared for this basic resource supply if it is to become a semiconductor manufacturing power.
