Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) and Tesla CEO Elon Musk (Elon Musk) have been working to land on Mars and make humans an interstellar species, CTOnews.com8 reported on March 15. Yesterday, he reiterated his point on the social platform.

The Silicon Valley Tesla owners Club (Tesla Owners Silicon Valley) released the status of SpaceX in 2002 and 2022, and the picture shows that SpaceX has made great progress in the middle of the decade. In addition, the Silicon Valley Tesla car owners Club also asked Musk about the recent progress of the SpaceX.

In response, Musk responded: "I hope there will be a self-sufficient city on Mars within 20 years." Last month, Musk said that this generation would see humans go to Mars in their lifetime. "if there is no common goal, human beings will fight internally. The moon brought us together in 1969, and Mars will bring us together in the future."

In addition, Musk said in mid-July that he would create a self-sufficient civilization on Mars. "if the launch speed increases exponentially, it will take 20 to 30 years for humans to land for the first time," he said. And he added that the schedule assumes that each flight carries about 100000 people, for a total of about 2 million.

CTOnews.com learned that Musk released a picture of a spacecraft on the surface of Mars on August 12, with the caption saying, "one day Mars will be like this."

At present, Musk is promoting the next generation of starship carrier rocket platform-starship (Starship). On August 9, local time, the starship booster B7 carried out a static ignition at the starship base in Bokacica, Texas, and was successful.
