Amap's traffic light countdown function is officially online.

CTOnews.com August 15 news, today Amap announced that Gaode traffic light countdown function has been officially online, can real-time calculate the red light countdown reading seconds and the need to wait for the turn, has supported nearly 240 cities across the country, more than 80,000 intersections.

When waiting for the traffic light at the intersection, I had no choice but to face the endless queue of vehicles; or in the driveway, there was a "high-end" bus in front of me, blocking the traffic light in front of me, and I was at a loss for a moment.

Now, users are using Amap to drive (including but not limited to trucks, new energy, Carplay, HiCar … In the process of related navigation, when the straight lanes of some intersections are waiting for the red light, you can see the countdown to the red light automatically displayed on Amap's App.

In addition, when there are about 5 seconds left in the red light clock, Amap will also remind users by voice to prepare for the start of the vehicle.

When there are more vehicles waiting for red lights at an intersection, and a round of traffic light switching is not enough for users to pass through the intersection, Amap App shows the specific number of red lights to wait for.
