Doom successfully runs on a tractor.

CTOnews.com, August 15 (Xinhua)-- as a classic shooting game, the first generation of Doom in 1993 was transplanted to a variety of strange platforms by high players.

Recently, an Australian hacker Sick Codes successfully ran Doom on the computer of a John Deere tractor.

As can be seen from the picture posted on Reddit, the game Doom runs on the screen as a window, with some interfaces controlled by the tractor at the bottom.

CTOnews.com learned that Sick Codes presented this result at the security conference DefCon last Friday and sparked a discussion about maintenance rights and security issues.

In order to break out of prison, Sick Codes tried several different versions of John Deere tractor touch screen terminals, and finally chose the 2630 and 4240 tractors with a large number of users. He then experimented for months on the circuit board to find a way around John Deere's dealer authentication requirements, which required physical access to the circuit board and some circuit welding, so there could be no remote jailbreak.
