Guangxi's first 350 km / h high-speed railway "Guinan high-speed railway" begins to lay tracks.

CTOnews.com, August 16 (Xinhua)-- Guinan high-speed railway, the first high-speed railway with a design speed of 350km / h in Guangxi, officially entered the track laying stage on the morning of August 16, according to China Railway Micro platform and China Railway Construction Daily.

Gui (Yang)-Nan (Ning) high-speed railway is an important part of China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway, which starts from Guiyang North Station of Guiyang Railway Hub in the north to Nanning East Railway Station of Nanning Railway Hub. It passes through more than 30 ethnic minority areas, such as Maonan, Yao, Buyi and Shui ethnic groups, with a total length of about 482 kilometers.

CTOnews.com learned that the Guinan high-speed railway is expected to open by the end of 2023, when the travel time between Nanning and Guiyang will be shortened from more than 5 hours to more than 2 hours.
