CTOnews.com8, March 17 (Xinhua)-- Polestar, a high-performance pure electric car brand, announced yesterday that it will put its new pure electric concept sports car, the Polestar 6, into mass production, which is expected to be launched in 2026.

In March this year, the pure electric concept roadster Pole Star made its debut in Los Angeles. The design language of the car is similar to that of the star Precept and has a strong family recognition. As a hard-top convertible electric sports car, the Polar O bike uses a low-lying, wide-body shape with a simple overall style and modern beauty.

"I am very excited about our decision to put this stunning all-electric sports car into mass production due to the enthusiastic response from consumers and the media," Thomas Ingenlath, the star CEO, said yesterday. "Star 6 is not only an all-electric sports car with surging performance, but also allows drivers to breathe fresh air and experience pure driving fun in an open state."

According to the official introduction, Star 6 will adopt the new customized all-aluminum bonding platform and high-performance 800V electrical architecture developed by the British team for Polar 5. The car is equipped with front and rear dual motor drive, providing a comprehensive maximum output power of 650 kilowatts (884 horsepower) and a peak torque of 900 Nm, with a target acceleration of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 250 km / h.

CTOnews.com learned that to celebrate the launch of the Polar 6, the limited edition model will feature a unique "sky blue" appearance, a light leather interior and the original 21-inch wheels of the Polar O'Conceptual version.
