CTOnews.com learned that both models of Acer hummingbird's future eco-friendly lightweight notebooks feature a 30 per cent PCR recycled plastic body, more than 99 per cent recyclable panels, a keyboard cap made of 50 per cent PCR plastic, a 14-inch thick 17.9mm, a heavy 1.5kg, and a choice of vast gray and deep blue, while the 15.6inch model is thick 17.9mm and heavy 1.76kg, with only vast gray.

In terms of configuration, the two laptops can choose from Core i5-1235U (10 core 12 threads, 4.4GHz) and i7-1255U (10 core 12 threads, 4.7GHz), both of which are equipped with Ruiju Xe. Standard 16G dual channel memory + 512GB PCIe 4.0SSD. The difference is that the two models have different memory speeds, 14 inches for LPDDR4X-4266 memory and 15.6 inches for DDR4-3200 memory.

Both notebooks feature a micro-framed IPS screen with a resolution of 1080p, a 100% sRGB high color gamut, support for DC dimming, and a blue light shield.

In terms of interface, the 15.6-inch version uses 1 × power interface, 1 × lightning 4 interface, 3 × USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 interface, 1 × HDMI 2.0 interface and 1 × RJ45 network cable interface, while the 14-inch version lacks an A port and RJ45 network cable interface.

In other aspects, the 56Wh capacity battery is used to play video for 13 hours continuously. Due to the use of environmentally friendly materials, each future hummingbird green version of the notebook reduces carbon emissions by about 21%, and the surface of the body is not sprayed with VOC (volatile organic compounds).
