It is understood that in order to realize the application of Xiaomi on multiple devices, Xiaomi launched the Internet of things software platform Xiaomi Vela at the Xiaomi developers' Conference on November 5, 2020. The platform supports cost-effective MCU (micro control unit) devices and can natively support Xiaomi Miaoka.

According to Xiaomi, Vela is an Internet of things embedded software platform based on the open source real-time operating system NuttX. Vela provides unified software services on various Internet of things hardware platforms, supporting rich components and easy-to-use framework. With the help of Xiaomi Vela, upstream and downstream manufacturers can more easily integrate into Xiaomi IoT ecology.

CTOnews.com learned that the Xiaomi Miaoxing Center was officially launched in July this year. As a new function of MIUI 13, Xiaomi Miaoxing Center can realize global equipment interconnection and support audio-visual relay, application transfer and global broadcast control.
