CTOnews.com, August 19 (Xinhua)-- Lincoln unveiled a concept car at Monterey Auto week on Thursday, local time, inspired by the company's first luxury sedan, the 1922 Model L.

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Ford's acquisition of Lincoln, the concept car, named Lincoln Model L100, is a luxury electric car with a very futuristic appearance.

The Lincoln Model L100 is equipped with a transparent hood, a glass roof that can be opened backwards, and doors that can be opened like flowers all the way to the rear of the car.

The car will be equipped with advanced self-driving, so there will be no steering wheel and brake accelerator pedal, but a huge central control screen (Lincoln calls it "chessboard chessboard"), on which passengers can manipulate miniature models of the car ("chess piece chess pieces") to manually control the vehicle.

CTOnews.com learned that because driving was greatly simplified, the Lincoln Model L100 focused on the passenger experience, with the front seats turning directly to the rear, allowing front and rear passengers to communicate face-to-face.

Huge screens installed on the floor also help create a cockpit atmosphere, which projects clouds and creates a quieter environment.
