CTOnews.com August 19 news, today, Tianma posted an article to introduce the extreme low-power technology solution of LED screen: HTD+MLP technology. According to officials, with the combination of the two technologies, the power consumption of the whole machine panel based on related application scenarios has been greatly reduced by about 15%.

According to reports, the HTD (Hybrid TFT Display) developed by the Tianma R & D team is a panel technology that intelligently adjusts the screen refresh rate dynamically, realizing the 1Hz-120Hz 6-frequency dynamic refresh mode. When the mobile phone screen displays low frame rate content such as image and text, it can be automatically reduced to an ultra-low 1Hz refresh rate, thereby reducing the driver power consumption; in games, page scrolling switching and other occasions that require high frame rate, the screen can instantly send force, and the interface operation is smooth to ensure the ultimate dynamic display effect.

On the basis of HTD technology, Tianma successfully integrates MLP (Micro Lens Panel) technology to further reduce screen power consumption. MLP technology changes the transmission path of light by adding lens structure to each luminous pixel and introducing materials with high refractive index and high transmittance, so that the divergent light energy can be focused on the screen.
