The battery factory that SK On is building, including the one in Ivancsa, Hungary, will be their third battery factory for electric vehicles in Europe, with plans to build two.

According to the latest foreign media reports, the first of the two electric vehicle battery factories built by SK On in Ivancsa, Hungary, has begun to install equipment.

Foreign media disclosed in the report that the equipment needed at SK On's Hungarian factory is supplied by about 20 manufacturers, including Yunsung Fairfax C, PNT, Woonwon, Mplus, etc., these equipment suppliers also supply equipment to other SK On factories.

In the report, foreign media also mentioned that the first plant of SK On Hungary Ivancsa, which is carrying out equipment installation, has 12 production lines, and the planned annual capacity is 30GWh, which is sufficient to assemble about 4.3 million electric vehicles, Ford and Volkswagen, and is expected to be their main customers in this factory.
