However, Apple still failed to comply with this requirement, and according to the latest report, the latest measures in Brazil also impounded the iPhone in Apple's retail stores.

Brazilian regulators seized "hundreds of iPhone" from several retail stores in the capital Brasilia on November 11, according to Tecnoblog. After three days of detention, Apple filed an enforcement order hoping to continue selling the iPhone until the dispute was finally decided.

The judge also claimed that Brazilian regulators had made such a decision as an "abuse of power". Apple said it was confident of winning the legal dispute and that customers "know the options for charging and connecting their devices".
