A source @ Kepler revealed that AMD is developing a small APU called Phoenix 2. Its GFX ID is 1104, which is a "small version" of Phoenix.

CTOnews.com has reported that whistleblower @ MLID has previously mentioned a "Little Phoenix" product with similar specifications, but this is an "ultra-low power and compact" chip for Steam Deck handsets, which cannot be ruled out as the same series of products.

To put it simply, the AMD Phoenix series APU, or Ryzen 7040 series, focuses on midrange notebooks and is based on the latest Zen 4 architecture, consuming between 35 and 45W, while the higher power Dragon Range series (Ryzen 7045 series) is suitable for game books and fever-grade high-end laptops.

Judging from the Linux patch recently uploaded by AMD, the next generation of APU series will support GFX1103, and AMD Dragon Range APU will also support DDR5 memory.

It is speculated that the new Phoenix APU series will adopt GPU with RDNA 3 architecture. Coelacanth's Dream said that the current GC 11.0.4 (Dragon Range) and GC 11.0.1 (Phoenix) take a similar path, while the latter is the same as GFX1103 GPU.
