According to reports, this is China's first advanced PWR user requirement document with complete independent intellectual property rights, and another masterpiece in the history of world nuclear power development after the publication of the US Power Research Institute user requirement document (URD) and the European user requirement document (EUR). It marks a new breakthrough in China's nuclear power standardization construction and a new journey to lead the development of advanced nuclear power in the world.

This is a reactor with pressurized, non-boiling ordinary water as moderator and coolant, which is composed of fuel assembly, moderator (also used as coolant), control rod assembly, combustible poison assembly, neutron source assembly, core gondola and pressure shell, etc., which belongs to the reactor type with large number of applications and large capacity in nuclear power plants.
