In November, Beijing Oriental Technology Group Co., Ltd. announced its intention to take control of Huacan Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. Through this subscription, it will achieve eco-efficient integration of MLED business.

The group standard conforms to this trend by stipulating the terms and definitions, optical properties, mechanical properties, environmental adaptability, average fault-free time and safety requirements of Mini-LED displays.

The formulation of this standard further standardizes the relevant standards of Mini-LED display technology, provides quality assurance for corresponding products, and is conducive to promoting the rapid application and development of Mini-LED display screen in the market. In addition, the technical specification is conducive to unifying the standards of upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry, and to a certain extent promote the improvement of the Mini-LED industry chain.

CTOnews.com learned that in recent years, BOE (JD.com) MLED has continuously promoted the upgrading of Mini LED technology. In September this year, JD.com launched a wide range of high-end technology products in the MLED field, such as P0.9 glass-based Mini LED direct display, 75-inch and 86-inch 8K Mini LED, 34-inch glass-based Mini LED e-sports display, and took the lead in mass production of glass-based Mini LED products.

At the end of June this year, BOE said that Mini LED backlight / direct display products have achieved mass production, with the introduction of glass-based 75-inch 8K Mini LED, 34-inch glass-based Mini LED MNT, 0.9mm pixel spacing Mini LED display products, etc., which have been supplied to Skyworth, Konka, AOC and other downstream customers.
